New Simon Complex

The hew beer bar complex owed by the same people as the Simon Complex further down Walking Streetis now open. They didn’t spend a lot of time deliberating the name of teh new complex as it’s name is the New Simon Complex. The complex is full of flashy neon signs and has a modern feel to the place. There are many ladies waiting to take care of you. The biggest thing going for this complex is the location. The complex should do well.

Soi Diamond Gogo Bars

There are quite a few gogo bars clustered together at the Walking Street end of Soi Diamond. This photo should Super Baby, Carousel and Paris gogo bars. The people out the front of these gogo bars are rather pushy trying to get people passing to enter their establishment. The will not physically drag you but they will shout and direct you into the bar by standing in your way and/or flashing lights at you.

Corner Bar Soi 6

On the corner of Soi 6 and Second Road you will find the aptly named Corner Bar. It is a good place to have a relaxing beer prior to debauchery that is Soi 6. It is a particularly a good place to meet friends if you are coming from different places.

You have to laugh at some of the things that you see in Pattaya. This guy is very funny but I guess he is having fun and not hurting anyone. This video was taken in Ludifer Disco in Pattaya.

Walking Street January 2009

After the busy holiday season over Christmas and New Year Pattaya was quieter in the middle of January. There were a lot less people on Walking Street even thought he photo below seems to indicate otherwise.

While Walking Street has significantly less people the bars are about the same. There are a few less people in the bars but the better bars and gogos are still busy. However, in general this high season is not a good one. There are many bars for sale and there will likely be some bar closures in two or three months time.

Airport Club

Airport Club is a newer gogo bar on Walking Street in Pattaya. It can be found at the north end of the street on the beach side. The service staff are dressed in 60′s style air hostess uniforms. The gogo is well worth visiting as there are many high quality ladies working in the place. Some of the service staff really stand out.

At the front of the establishment there is the usual raised dance floor. At the rear there is another raised dancing area and in the middle a wet stage where the girls get soaped up.

Maximum Club

The maximum Club is a new place at the corner of Soi 3 and Second Road. It is located in a new building at the front of the soapy at the intersection. The club is on the Soi 2 level and faces that soi. The level above is at the level of Second Road. This level contains 3 beer bars (Krit Bar, Noi’s Bar and Cosy Bar.) The floors above the bars are still being developed.

Pattaya New Year 2009

Last night was New Years in Pattaya. There were a lot of people out to celebrate the night. Many bars were busy and Walking Street was full of people. The first photo shows the crowd on Walking Street that made it a slow process to get anywhere during the night. The second photo shows the FLB bar at the stroke of midnight. Happy New Year everyone.

Christmas 2008

Yesterday was Christmas and many people were out celebrating it in the way they do and that’s with lots of drink. Even though Christmas is not a part of the Buddhist faith it has been accepted by the Thais in Pattaya. No prizes for guessing why.

A good place to bring in Christmas was a the Cherry Bar on Soi 8. I’m sure that many frequent visitors to Pattaya will have problems identifying this man in red who was happily handing out Christmas present to all. I’m sure that the condoms he was given out were put to good use.

Soi Diamond Gogo Bars

There are many gogo bars along Soi Diamond off Walking St in Pattaya. The area immediately off Walking Street contains many of the gogo bars. The photograph below shows three of them (Super Girl, Naughty Girls and The Sea.)

The area is worth exploring for there are many stunners working in the gogos in this area. Prices tend to be a little inflated due to the influence of Japanese and Korean visitors to the area.
